Portal Pendant: the Minion Prince's escape hatch
The Minion Prince's new Epic equipment pulls him and nearby troops off the map and lets you redeploy them elsewhere, healed and hasted. Here is how it works, what it costs, and whether it earns a slot.

Portal Pendant
3.5 / 5
Portal Pendant arrived on October 8, 2026 with the Portal Panic event. It is an Epic, active piece of Hero Equipment for the Minion Prince, and it does something no equipment has done before: it takes units off the battlefield and hands them back to you.
What it does
When you activate it, the Minion Prince recalls himself and the friendly troops, heroes and pets around him back to his slot on the deployment bar. Deploy that slot again and everything comes back out, wherever the village lets you deploy, with extra health and a Haste effect.
- Heroes are recalled first, then the units with the most housing space, until the recall capacity is full. For this, a hero counts as 25 housing space and a pet as 20.
- The Minion Prince himself takes up no capacity, but a pet equipped to him does.
- Siege Machines cannot be recalled.
- Timers on Rage Vial, Eternal Tome, clones and Phoenix revives pause while units wait in the portal. Most other effects keep counting down.
- Recall capacity
- 160 → 400 housing space
- Portal radius
- 7 → 10 tiles
- Healing on redeploy
- +22% → +35%
- Haste on redeploy
- 3.5s → 8s

- 56,060 Shiny · 3,720 Glowy · 480 Starry

- 3,100 Rift Medals in Portal Panic
How to use it
Think of it as a reset button for a part of the attack that went wrong. A hero pack that walked into a Monolith, a funnel that collapsed, or a Queen Charge heading the wrong way can be lifted out and dropped on a fresh side at full speed. The redeploy heal and haste mean they arrive in better shape than they left.
Timing is everything. Fire it too early and you waste the troops' work. Fire it too late and there is nothing left to save. The best moment is just before a dense core starts to trade badly with your pack.
Our evaluation
Portal Pendant is the highest skill-ceiling equipment in the game right now. In a planned attack it can win a star that was already lost. In a straight-line attack it does nothing that Henchmen Puppet or Dark Orb would not do better. It also gives the Prince no extra hitpoints, unlike his other equipment, so he is easier to lose before you use it.
